The Youth Board is active in both European and national level for the promotion of youth policy issues. Specifically, the organisation is involved in:

  • The Youth Working Party of the EU Council that meets on a regular basis (usually 4-6 times every six months of Presidency). In the context of those meetings, the European Union members prepare, develop and finalize youth policy documents for approval and adoption by the Council of Ministers.
  • The Councils of Ministers that are accountable for youth issues, and where resolutions and decisions for the development of youth policies are achieved, that previously have been elaborated by the Youth Working
  • Experts Groups dealing with youth issues, such as the Youth Department of the Council of Europe and the European Knowledge Centre for Youth Policy.
